This is the job Join us as a Pricing Manager and take the lead in shaping AAUICL’s Home Insurance pricing strategy. You’ll design and refine risk models, drive innovation through advanced analytics, and ensure compliance while collaborating with trading, underwriting and data teams. What will I be doing? Take ownership of building and refining risk models that shape the competitiveness of our Home Insurance product. Push boundaries by introducing advanced analytical techniques and research to accelerate pricing capabilities. Ensure every pricing decision meets regulatory standards and reflects best practice controls. Work hand‑in‑hand with trading, underwriting and data teams to deliver impactful, market‑leading solutions. Translate technical insights into clear, actionable strategies for stakeholders across the business. Safeguard the integrity, accuracy and security of data at every stage of analysis and modelling. Keep pace with cutting‑edge developments in data science, machine learning and insurance pricing to maintain our competitive edge. What do I need? Capability, Knowledge and Experience: Proven experience in General Insurance Pricing, with any Home‑specific experience being a strong advantage. A track record of coaching and mentoring junior colleagues is essential, and formal line management experience is a bonus. Skilled in at least two of the following; Python, SQL, Radar, or Emblem to deliver robust analytical solutions. A understanding of the challenges facing the Personal Lines market and the ability to adapt strategies accordingly. Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
