Senior Engineer Operations (Fixed Term Contract)Location : Belfast (Hybrid)Duration : 30-Month Fixed Term Contract About the Role A leading Transmission System Operator is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the safe, secure, and reliable operation of Northern Ireland's electricity system. This is a chance to work at the forefront of power system innovation, renewable integration, and market development. Responsibilities Real-time system security support Engineering analysis Outage management Risk assessment Development of operational tools, standards, and policies Grid and Network Code management Performance analysis of new and existing generation technologies Commissioning, testing, and compliance processes Market data assurance, modelling, and reporting These roles run to 2028 with potential for longer-term opportunities.
