OverviewSenior Night Care & Support Assistant – Location: Abbotsham Bideford, EX39 5BE. 21.00 hours to 07.00am, alternate weekends off. Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour + paid breaks. This is a role within Care South, a not-for-profit charity focused on rewarding and recognising our people.We are a residential care home set in 30 acres of North Devon countryside. We work to provide person-centred care and support for residents, with a focus on independence, companionship and a welcoming atmosphere.What you will be doingWork alongside a team of Care Assistants to ensure they are supported and have guidance throughout their shiftIdentify the individual needs and abilities of residents to deliver person-centred careSupport residents to remain as independent as possibleProvide companionship and get to know residents wellAct as point of escalation for any incidents or events in the homeWork with the team to maintain a cooperative, friendly and welcoming home environmentWho we are looking forSomeone who is naturally caring and compassionate and can positively impact residents’ livesAbility to inspire and nurture the team to be at their best every dayCompleted or working towards an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)Previous care experience with knowledge of care planning and administering medicationRequirements and detailsHours: 21.00 hrs to 07.00amLocation: Kenwith Castle, Abbotsham, BidefordAlternate weekends offQualifications: NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or working towards itPay: £13.25 per hour + paid breaksBenefitsBlue Light Shopping Discount CardReward and Recognition SchemesEmployee Assistance ProgrammeIndustry Based QualificationsAs a not-for-profit charity, we emphasise HEART values in delivering outstanding care.
