Account Receivable Team Lead Location: London, England, United Kingdom Salary: £70,000.00–£80,000.00 per annum About the Role Even the best scientific institutes cannot flourish without a well‑managed cash flow. The Account Receivable Team Lead will guide the team responsible for the management, maintenance and reconciliation of the sales ledger in line with management accounting practices. The team ensures credit control activities are performed to business guidelines, and that NPL operations function effectively by ensuring invoices are raised to customers and cash receipts are received and allocated in a timely manner. This role is new, arising from the adoption of a new Enterprise Resources Platform, and provides an opportunity to influence the development of systems and processes to drive improvement. As the lead for the Accounts Receivable (AR) team, you will delegate workload, monitor progress to ensure that company accounting practice is followed, and that the workload is completed efficiently and on time. You will help the team resolve complex accounts, deal with a wide range of customer and contract types, assist with cash flow forecasting and reporting, and ensure team targets for raising invoices and allocating cash are met. About You Key Criteria Track record of delivering accounts receivable and credit control activity, ideally with a mixture of commercial and government accounts. Experience of preparing cash flow and other forecasts for reporting to business management. Good communication skills for managing and maintaining relationships with colleagues and customers to ensure queries and problems are dealt with efficiently. A passion for continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting staff to challenge inefficiencies. Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office. Managed staff to ensure performance targets are communicated and delivered. Desirable Criteria Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for financial management and control. Demonstrated commitment to support staff develop knowledge and skills, encouraging professional development.
