We are currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Trampers to join our team for work in and around the Darlington area. Job Description As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for long-distance deliveries, providing essential support to our client. This role involves overnight stays, so flexibility and a commitment to safety are key. The driver will expected to be away Monday through to Friday. If you're an experience tramper looking for some work get in touch with our team to get the ball rolling. Key Responsibilities Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for long-distance deliveries. Complete pre-journey vehicle checks to ensure compliance with regulations. Adhere to all driving laws and regulations, including tachograph requirements. Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 driving license (C+E). CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification. Digital Tacho No major endorsements / no more than 6 points Experience as a Tramper Driver preferred. At least 1 year Class 1 Driving experience. Strong commitment to safety and compliance. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. What We Offer Competitive pay rates.
