We are excited to have you as part of our team to help you start your professional growth and contribute to our success at SkyworksDuration: January to June 2026ResponsibilitiesIn this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:Working with experienced engineers to design/develop RFIC for Multi-chip modulesDesigning RF power amplifiersRunning simulations using design tools such as Keysight ADS and Ansys HFSSParticipating and presenting in design reviewsPerforming lab testing using standard RF test equipmentTroubleshooting and resolving design or technical issuesCollaborating with other engineers and techniciansRequired Experience and SkillsCurrently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD programsCommitment to working on-site for up to 6 months (June - December 2026)Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impactStrong career interest in power amplifier design and RF/microwave engineeringFamiliar with amplifier modes of operation: Class A, AB, C, E, F and load modulation techniques such as Doherty PA designFamiliar with DPD, and memory effects, and how those impact PA designWilling to share knowledge and collaborate with othersMust have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookPreferred Skills and ExperienceExperience with Keysight ADSHands-on experience in the lab using a network analyzer and other RF instrumentsUnderstanding in HBT technologyCompensationThe typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
