Development Planner – West London/Hybrid – £28.36 to £34.71 per hour (Umbrella) A West London Local Authority is seeking a qualified Development Planner to join its Development Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping the local environment through the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused planning service. Key Responsibilities Provide a professional, responsive, and customer-focused Development Management service. Process a range of planning applications, appeals, and customer enquiries within agreed timescales. Advise councillors, developers, colleagues, and members of the public on planning policy and proposals. Prepare reports and recommendations for committees and appeals. Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance with planning legislation and local policy. Essential Skills & Experience Qualified Town Planner with experience in Development Management. Strong ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and design proposals. Good mathematical skills, including calculating areas and volumes. Proven ability to manage a caseload of applications and meet statutory deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
