Role: Static


Benefits: 24 days holiday + 8 days bank holidays, Monday to Friday days, No call outs


Timings: 7am - 3:30pm, following week 10am - 6:30pm


The Role: As a Facilities Maintenance Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning systems on a large site in Plymouth. This role will involve diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and ensuring all HVAC equipment is running efficiently to maintain a comfortable and safe environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Routine Inspections: Regularly inspect mechanical systems and equipment.
  2. Maintenance Planning: Develop schedules and procedures for maintenance tasks.
  3. Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues.
  4. Part Replacement: Identify and replace faulty parts and components.
  5. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies.
  6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  7. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  8. Collaboration: Coordinate with other maintenance staff and contractors.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  10. Training: Stay updated with industry developments and provide training to staff.
  11. Pumps, motors, plumbing, heating, valves, boilers, pipes, water supply, sprinklers

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  1. Level 2/3 in mechanical discipline (air conditioning, plumbing, mechanical engineering, pipefitter, fitter)
