Reference: MM201_1742574630Posted: March 21, 2025Fawkes & Reece South are working with a leading regional civil engineering contractor who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor. They are working in collaboration with a private client on a large infrastructure project in the South. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a £20m civils and earthworks package.Your role as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will be to ensure that the commercial duties are being performed in line with NEC3 contracts. You will be involved in (but not limited to):Accurate monthly forecastingProducing and sending enquiries with relevant documentation to subcontractorsProducing monthly reports and cost value reconciliationsManaging any changes in a timely manner in accordance with the forms of contractProducing, submitting and agreeing monthly applicationsAttending weekly progress meeting with subcontractors and the clientRequirements including certificates and qualifications:Degree-qualified or equivalent in a Quantity Surveying subject or similarExperience working on any civil engineering or groundworks related projectsCandidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UKThe successful candidate will be rewarded with a generous package plus opportunities to progress further within the business.
