More About The Role We are looking for a highly motivated and strategically minded Associate Director to join our thriving Corporate and Public Affairs team in London. This pivotal role is ideal for a communications professional with a strong background in media and account management, who is passionate about highly regulated sectors, including defence, energy and industrials, as well as financial services. Sitting within our team of sector experts, you will be responsible for leading account teams, developing and executing integrated communication strategies and providing expert counsel to clients operating in complex and fast‑evolving environments. You will be a critical driver of client success, team development, and the continued growth of our agency. They will also be comfortable networking and happy to leverage their contacts to bring new opportunities in for the agency. What You’ll Do Maintain and develop strong client relationships built on trust, leading client meetings and overseeing the smooth running of accounts. Manage client teams while nurturing current talent and contributing to the creation of a dedicated team culture, while building relationships across the agency. Be a trusted advisor to clients, add value to client relationships, and provide high‑level strategic counsel across media and social. Identify opportunities to expand client work, develop proposals, and contribute to pitch meetings for new business. Be responsible for budget monitoring, revenue forecasting and planning, resourcing, overseeing client budgets and fee negotiation to ensure correct level of profitability. Experience That Contributes To Success Strong track record in creating and leading multi‑channel corporate campaigns. Client management and relationship‑building skills and experience, ideally from an agency environment. Proven expertise within highly regulated sectors, specifically energy, industrials or financial services. Excellent writing and editorial skills with ability to translate complex topics into compelling content. Strong presentation and client counsel capabilities. Experience in managing and developing teams. Experience of managing and coordinating across markets.
