Python Quant Developer - Hedge Fund trading team Join an outstanding Python Quant Developer role with one of the world's most prestigious hedge funds, focusing on Fixed Income trading. Job Description You'll join a small fixed-income PM team of 10 that enjoys huge autonomy and is looking to grow their risk-taking. Working directly with the PM/trader, you will be expected to work on a range of tasks, ranging from data acquisition, turning risk taker ideas to production level code, and helping less experienced coders. Responsibilities Acquire and process fixed income market data. Turn risk-taker/trader ideas into production-level code. Collaborate with the PM and trader on research and strategy development. Mentor less experienced developers. Qualifications Minimum 4 years experience in quantitative development. Deep understanding of Python and common quant libraries. Familiarity with SQL. Knowledge of Fixed Income/Rates markets (at least 3 years). Desirable Advanced STEM academic background (Masters/PhD). Benefits & Incentives Significant salary (£160k base + profit share bonus, total TC north of £500k). Greenfield work with large impact. Very collaborative and friendly culture.
