Job Overview Role: Bank Primary Care Nurse at Category C Prison located in Rugby Hours: Bank but must be able to work some weekdays and weekends. Hourly Rate: £23.83 per hour Eligibility: Candidates must have legal right to work in the UK; offer subject to additional vetting and security checks. Main Duties Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse‑led service and prevent hospital admissions. Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening. Use skills to deliver nurse‑led clinics to patient groups whilst being supported by a multi‑disciplinary team. Provide outstanding evidence‑based care, seeking, listening to and acting on patient feedback, personalised and informed by what matters to them. Deliver non‑judgemental care that makes a real difference. Inspire excellence by forging strong links with partners and stakeholders. Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence‑based care and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning. Qualifications and Experience Evidence of continued professional development. Ideally experience of immunisations, vaccinations and long‑term conditions, but not essential.
