Overview Field Service Engineer - Heavy Plant Equipment. Location: Southwest. Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Door to door paid travel. We're recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineers to join a well-established heavy plant equipment manufacturer in the Southwest, supporting a wide range of industrial engineering and construction clients across the South West. This is a varied, field-based position involving servicing, repairs, installations, and breakdown support for a range of vehicles and associated plant machinery, ideal for an engineer who enjoys being out on the road and working directly with a variety of clients. Responsibilities Carry out site visits to complete servicing, repairs, installations, and reactive maintenance Complete all associated documentation, including risk assessments, service reports, and timesheets Work safely at all times, following company and site Health & Safety procedures Qualifications / Skills Proven background as a field service engineer, ideally within a heavy plant/heavy vehicle mechanical environment Mechanically and electrically competent, with strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability Customer-focused with excellent communication skills Full UK driving licence required Package & Benefits Salary £35,000 - £50,000 (DOE) Overtime and call-out payments Door to door paid travel Company vehicle and uniform provided If interested, please apply or contact danielmc@hunterselection.co.uk for more information.
