Rotational Occupational Therapist The closing date is 08 December 2025 Are you a soon to be qualified, newly qualified or an experienced Occupational Therapist looking to work within a supportive, friendly, and dynamic therapy team delivering Occupational Therapy across a wide variety of rotations? Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Band 5 rotations. The successful candidate will join our very supportive therapy teams across various inpatient and outpatient clinical areas and rotate every 6 months across a wide range of areas including: Rapid Response team (emergency department and acute admission areas) Neuro rehabilitation inpatients, General Surgery rehabilitation inpatients, Neuro rehabilitation Outpatients Musculoskeletal Occupational Therapy Outpatients Intermediate Care & Frailty Service Our teams are lively, friendly, dynamic and are keen to offer the best possible service to our patients. This role would be an excellent opportunity for qualified Occupational therapists looking to gain experience in a variety of core clinical areas. We offer preceptorship support and training opportunities to enable you to develop your career. As a Therapy service, we are big enough to provide you with varied experience and small enough to care. Main duties of the job To work as an autonomous Occupational therapist to provide assessment and treatment to patients presenting with a range of conditions. To work in a range of settings within the hospital or community. To be responsible for the safe and competent use of all treatment equipment, patient appliances and aids. Person Specification Experience Previous experience in broadly similar areas of work Previous experience working as a band 5 OT in NHS Qualifications BSC hons in Occupational Therapy or equivalent Attendance at nationally recognised courses or other evidence of advancing knowledge Skills Car driver with full UK licence Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
