Role Assembly Operative (Electro‑Mechanical) Location Welham Green Rate £12.80 – £14.34 ph Duration Long‑term, could lead to permanent work for the right candidates Working Hours Monday to Thursday 7.30 – 16.15Friday 7.30 – 15.00 Main Responsibilities Manufacture mechanical and electrical components, sub‑assemblies and products following production SOP (standard operating procedures). Work to set targets and demands. Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping. Operate machinery and equipment using PPE provided. Continuously monitor the production process, including visual inspection and functional test, to ensure product meets the agreed quality and safety standards. Adhere to production documentation and maintain records as required. Be self‑motivated, using effective communication and work using own initiative or within a team. Liaise with Team Leaders/Manufacturing Manager to identify issues and opportunities for improvements. Qualifications Previous experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and in the assembly of electro‑mechanical components. Previous soldering experience would be advantageous.
