Vision: Changing lives through education. The Role We are seeking a Lecturer to teach across undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. The role requires flexibility to teach weekdays, evenings and weekends. What you will be doing As a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance at Global Banking School, you will deliver modules in management accounting and finance, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment of students and keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices. Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met Develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials Actively engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties Stay current with latest developments in your field and student support practices Work toward clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression About You Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable) Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter Supervise student work and provide support and feedback Accurate reporting and maintain thorough and organized student records Work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-working skills Work with diverse groups of people Desirable Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent) Experience of design / development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Education and Training Industries Education Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at GEDU Global Education by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
