You’ll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and supervising the activities of a team of operatives. You’ll provide leadership, motivation, and training to ensure operational effectiveness and that all daily targets are met. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic environment where flexibility, problem-solving, and strong communication skills are essential.This is a full-time, permanent position.You’ll be workingMonday to Friday,on rotating shifts of06:00 till 14:00 & 14:00 till 22:00.Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays and option to purchase further annual leave). That’s why we also provide significant opportunities for career development and progression, as well as training enrichment and multiskilling, in a dynamic working environment.What you’ll do on a typical day:Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment during shiftSupport colleagues through excellent communication and active leadershipTranslate, analyse and deliver customer needs through effective operationsEffective leadership, management and communication with all warehouse departmentsResponsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behavioursRecognise and proactively manage continuous improvement initiativesEnsure all internal / external KPI’s are achieved and regularly reviewedWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Excellent organisational/time management skillsPeople Management including experience of disciplinary investigations and other people processesGood analytical and numerical skillsExcellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skillsKnowledge of Health & Safety requirementsTeam DevelopmentComputer literate; experience with WMS systemsWork within a team and able to interact at all levelsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
