Role Overview For our Reply office in Manchester, we’re currently recruiting software engineers with a strong interest in joining a leading IT consultancy. As a software engineer, you’ll develop new systems and applications on the basis of detailed specifications which will include designing, coding, testing and debugging of applications. We are open to applications for our March 2026 graduate recruitment Responsibilities You’ll work directly with customers to quickly understand their problems, collaboratively create technical designs and then work in a small team with minimal supervision to deploy the solution into an AWS‑based environment Write, amend, refactor and document code to build moderately complex programs / components / scripts whilst applying agreed modelling techniques, standards, patterns and tools Understand and analyse a client’s organisation/operation and requirements in order to produce recommendations, technical design documents and time/cost estimates Work with other digital disciplines to understand user needs and what needs to be built, identifying, creating and applying software development and security standards and processes as required Support the general delivery process on projects, helping the customer with remote and on‑site support activities About the candidate A minimum Bachelor’s degree (2.1 or higher) is required in IT, Computer Science, or in a Technology‑related field Excellent inter‑personal and communicative skills Advanced knowledge in software languages like JavaScript, Typescript, Java, Python or Terraform HCL as well as frameworks like Express.js, React, vue.js , Spring Boot, TensorFlow or PyTorch Strong interest in serverless computing and in cloud‑based solutions built using AWS native services Interest in developing generative AI solutions for customers You’re flexible in regards to business travelling as well as working across different projects Reply is an Equal Opportunities Employer and committed to embracing diversity in the workplace.
