Activities Coordinator – Glencorse Care Home We are opening soon in Penicuik, part of the new Greenlaw Mains community. This purpose‑built, luxury care home will provide Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 54 residents. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our founding team. You will help residents stay active, connected, and fulfilled, bringing fun, laughter, and a sense of purpose to every day. What We Offer £13.52 per hour 37.5 hours per week Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided, free onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full‑time contract) Ongoing training and development within a supportive organisation What You Will Do Plan and deliver a varied activity programme that promotes residents’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing. From group sessions to one‑to‑one moments, ensure each resident feels included, valued and engaged. Get to know each resident personally, tailoring activities to their interests and abilities while maintaining accurate records of participation. Organise music afternoons, art projects or local outings to create moments that truly matter.
