OverviewMechanical Maintenance Fitter - Radcliffe. Permanent opportunity.To ensure smooth and reliable operation of equipment and machinery by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs, along with fast and effective response to equipment break downs.ResponsibilitiesCarrying out all tasks in a safe and efficient mannerComplete ad hoc repairs to various mechanical equipmentMaintenance of pneumatics, motors, gearboxes and pumpsPrioritising workload throughout shiftGood and effective communication with all departments across siteWork collaboratively with the operations team to drive year on year OEE improvementSuggest and implement improvementsAttend tier meetings as appropriateQualificationsMinimum of 5 years maintenance engineering experienceExperience working with pumps, gearboxes, drivesPneumatic knowledgeOrganisational skillsTime management skillsComputer literateEffective teamworkDesirablePrevious experience within a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of hydraulic systemsKnowledge of electrical systemsPrevious experience of working at height/within confined spacesPrevious experience of forklift operationsPrevious experience of cherry picker operationsHours Of WorkFlexibility to work 12 hour days & nights including weekends. 9 days off every 4 weeks.CompensationBasic Salary: £36,500 plus overtime.Excellent pension scheme.
