Reference: SB-H&S_1762850917Posted: November 11, 2025 *PERM POSITION - HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGER* An excellent opportunity for an experienced health and safety manager to join a family run fit out specialist delivering high quality projects across the commercial, education, and leisure sectors throughout the northwest This is a hands-on role within a close-knit team that takes real pride in their work, reputation, and people The role As health and safety manager, you'll take ownership of all aspect's health, safety, and compliance across live fit out and refurbishment projects. You'll work closely with site teams, contracts managers, senior leadership to maintain the company's excellent safety record, ensuring all projects meet current legislation and best practise standards. Responsibilities Oversee H&S across multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects Carry out regular site inspections and audits Produce risk assessment, method statements, and safety documentation Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, training sessions Work closely with project teams to drive a positive safety culture Investigate and report on incidents, implementing corrective actions Keep up to date with legislation and ensure company compliance About you Proven experience in health and safety management within the fit-out or construction industry Strong communication and leadership skills with a practical, hands‑on approach Ability to influence and engage teams across multiple projects Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the northwest Join a family‑run business with a genuine team culture Play a key role in shaping and improving safety standards Varied projects across commercial, education, and leisure sectors Long‑term stability, progression, and competitive package If you are interested in this position and would like to apply, please email a copy of your CV to Sean at Fawkes & Reece, using the contact details provided or you can give the office a call for further details on 07752467541 #J-18808-Ljbffr
