About you We are looking for someone who can work with identified students as part of a small team, enabling and empowering them to prepare for fulfilling busy lives as young adults. You will help students develop strategies focusing on positive behaviours, reducing and ideally removing the need for unhelpful communication strategies. Job Details As a support worker you will: Support students in classroom environments, assisting with accessing the community, and participating in activities to develop life skills. Assist students with personal care needs, respecting dignity and privacy. Create a nurturing environment where students can lead fulfilling lives, free from fear, and aligned with their needs and aspirations. Support students in maintaining personal hygiene, maximizing comfort, and fostering abilities while minimizing risks. Promote and empower students to actively participate in college activities by providing support within college sessions and in the community. Communicate effectively to ensure seamless implementation of agreed care plans, based on a true understanding of student needs. By working in this role you will help students become adults and prepare for busy, fulfilling lives as graduates.
