If so, you would be a great fit for our Business Development Manager role.The RoleWe currently have an opening for a Business Development Manager to cover the North East, East Midlands, East Anglia and Scotland region to be responsible for development of broker accounts to provide profitable growth in sales and income. As part of our ambitious plans for the future, we are seeking an enthusiastic and personable professional who can take this territory to new heights of success. Based in the North you will visit brokers across your region to build and strengthen the relationship. When you are not out, you will be based from home but expected to travel to our offices based in Huntingdon, London and Watnall for our monthly team meetings.Jensten are the partner you can rely on both as a customer but also as a colleague. A big part of how we do this is by listening and taking action.Key Objectives & ResponsibilitiesDeveloping broker accounts and forging stronger and deeper relationshipsIdentification of opportunities for growth that are aligned with product strategy and appetiteBuilding your personal brand and the Jensten business brandPromoting the benefits of the Jensten underwriting and Jensten London Markets propositionDemonstrating how our distribution proposition can enhance a broker’s businessIdentify, evaluate and secure new distribution opportunitiesAbout YouAs a Business Development Manager, you will report to the Head of Broker Development. You will thrive on building strong working relationships with your broker accounts and be experienced in managing a panel of brokers.RequirementsA good general knowledge of the insurance market and legislation requirementsBusiness development, relationship management and client management experience within the insurance industryHave a strong network within the industry and be able to utilise these connections to grow our broker accountsProven ability in developing and executing strategic plansStrong communication skillsA collaborative working approach with the ability to work closely with your teamEffective prioritisation of time and resourceMust have a current driving licence, own vehicle and be willing to travel nationwideA competent level of knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbout UsLaunched in 2018 Jensten is one of the UK's largest independent broking groups.
