Trust Grade Interventional Radiology FellowA fixed term contract post is available for a Trust Grade Fellow Interventional Radiology at the Department of Radiology in Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The applicant must be able to start in January 2026. The post is a fixed term position until the end of July 2026 (6‑month contract). You will join a team of Interventional Radiology resident doctors ranging from ST4–ST6 and a large team of Interventional Radiology Consultants.The Department is based on three sites in West London (Hammersmith Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and St Mary's Hospital) and offers wide exposure to all aspects of Trauma Imaging.Please apply online; only online applications will be considered. The successful candidate will have six dedicated IR sessions per week and a general radiology commitment.Work with consultants and specialist registrars (SpRs) to fulfil the clinical obligations of the department.Participate in research projects.Engage in quality improvement and audit activity.Participate in formal and informal teaching to SpRs, medical students and ancillary medical personnel.Clinical Commitment: The fellow will initially be under the direct supervision of a consultant but will become more autonomous as experience grows. Please discuss this during the interview.Person SpecificationQualificationsOn GMC register/licensed Medical PractitionerFRCR or equivalentRelevant experience in specialty/Sub‑specialtyExperience in a wide range of imaging modalities and specialties.Experience in Interventional Radiology to at least ST5 level – ideally independent in drainage, biopsy, vascular access and nephrostomy insertion (will support the IR Fellow on‑call rota).Experience performing angiography and EVAR.Clinical skillsIndependent reporting of on‑call work, CT, ultrasound and emergency MRI as a general radiologist.Independent preliminary trauma scan reporting in a major trauma centre.AuditExperience of participating in clinical audits.Experience of leading clinical audits.Academic achievements including research/publicationsPublications in peer‑reviewed journals and presentations at national or international meetings.Physical requirementsPhysically capable of working as a general radiologist.Occupational health clearance for the role as specified.Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and will require a Disclosure and Barring Service check for any prior convictions.Consultant Obstetrician and Maternity & Fetal MedicineDepending on experience, £44,170 – £67,610 per annum + London weighting + 1B banding. #J-18808-Ljbffr
