A Deloitte Best Managed Company Award winner for eight years running, we pride ourselves on being a full building services solutions provider and have successfully delivered multiple large‑scale projects in Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.Job DescriptionDue to the continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager in Birmingham. This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve liaising daily with suppliers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.Main DutiesOversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.Ensure all relevant permits are in place.Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.Liaise with main contractors and the client‑based site team.Ensure on‑site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE, etc.On‑site coordination of plant hire, tools, and labour.Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.Manage relevant external correspondence.Order all day‑to‑day site materials.Update appropriate information to progress report.Maintain K&M Document Management System.Manage project‑specific scheduling.Communicate changes to the Project team.Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.QualificationsRelevant trade qualifications in or further education qualification mechanical building servicesMinimum of 5 years’ experiencePrevious experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar rolePeople management experienceProject Management experience beneficialComputer literate with exceptional interpersonal skillsWillingness to do some travel if/when requiredAdditional InformationCompetitive salaryProfessional Development supportEmployee Assistance ProgramHealth and Wellness programsBike to work schemeSeniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesConstruction #J-18808-Ljbffr
