The role focuses on supporting clients with large, complex portfolios by providing an accurate, effective, and timely rating appeal service.The role involves working closely with colleagues in Birmingham and the wider department (and other business lines) throughout the UK to deliver our business plans and support the company’s growth ambitions. A key focus is to build on our excellent reputation and increase our market share in strategically identified and specialist sectors.The successful candidate will have responsibility for some client relationships, including working with stakeholders outside of BNP Paribas Real Estate.ResponsibilitiesDeliver substantial fee income, aiming for at least 3x basic salary per annum.Provide sound and profitable advice and transactions to clients.Promote and develop the Rating offering within the wider BNP Paribas business.Manage client base to meet financial goals.Provide accurate management information to the Head of Rating and Senior Directors.Contribute to improving the Rating team’s profitability.Support Surveyor and Graduate development.Maintain and build client relationships.Actively sell our Rating capabilities to clients and win new business.Develop relationships and grow business from existing and new clients.Build a track record of repeat instructions.Identify and execute cross-selling opportunities.Monitor current and prospective assignments and act accordingly.Ensure quality of service through regular reviews and prompt rectification of issues.Assist in Key Account Management to understand client needs.Develop a network of relationships and proactively sell services across the Group.Collaborate with colleagues outside of Rating to achieve company objectives.Manage fee negotiations, billing, and debt collection efficiently.Bill regularly and collect fees promptly.Accurately forecast fees when required.Support initiatives to improve profitability.Person SpecificationQualificationsDegree-level education.ExperienceProven delivery in the UK Real Estate market with a strong Rating background.Track record of enhancing performance through growth and profitability.Experience in developing market profile as a new business generator.BenefitsWe offer award-winning benefits including health & leisure perks such as private medical cover, 27 days annual leave plus public holidays, health screening, gym discounts, wellbeing support, volunteering opportunities, cycle to work scheme, eye care vouchers, travel & retail discounts, travel insurance, concierge service, kids pass, golf card, vibrant company culture, and social events.Financial benefits include pension, company car allowance, life assurance at 8x salary, group income protection, interest-free season ticket loan, bonus scheme, share incentive plan, and financial/mortgage advice.BNP Paribas Real Estate is committed to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity regardless of race, gender, age, religion, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or other protected status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
