About The OpportunityJacobs is a market leader in the transportation sector, working with major clients and delivering global and local initiatives. The successful candidate will gain on-the-job training using the latest software tools and exposure to various stages of schemes from concept through construction. You will assist and support colleagues in preparing feasibility studies, scheme reports and highway designs as part of your development to becoming a professionally qualified engineer. This opportunity is based in the Glasgow office, with a start date of September 2026. ResponsibilitiesSupport on delivering Jacobs’ high-profile transportation projects and enquiries across the project lifecycle from concept to construction.Participate in feasibility studies, scheme reports and highway design preparations as part of professional development.Collaborate with managers and mentors to collect meaningful on-the-job learning experiences.Engage with the GDP structure, including blended learning, mentoring, progress reviews and networking.
