Reliability Engineer

About the Role As a Reliability Engineer at Weetabix, you'll play a key role in protecting and improving our asset care strategy. You'll work closely with production facilities, capital projects, and maintenance teams to boost equipment performance and elevate maintenance programs. Responsibilities Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure consistent adherence to maintenance programs and practices across all facilities. Act as the subject‑matter authority for the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring effective use, data integrity, and continuous improvement. Support capital and non‑capital projects by embedding reliability fundamentals throughout. Champion the Early Equipment Management (EEM) process to drive robust design, smooth commissioning, and long‑term asset performance. Lead the development and implementation of Criticality Assessments and Risk‑Based Maintenance evaluations to maximise asset performance and mitigate operational risks. Collaborate with manufacturing and support teams to guide and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring technical failures and breakdowns. Identify and lead Value Optimisation projects that enhance asset performance, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency through data‑driven insights. Qualifications Experience with infrastructure projects, particularly in civil works. Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles. Proficiency in CMMS usage and data management. Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and drive process improvements. Interview Process Teams interview followed by a face‑to‑face at our Burton Latimer site.
