Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant Full-Time, Term Time OnlyLocation: Lambeth, South East London Are you passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential? We are seeking a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a successful secondary school in the Lambeth area. The school supports students with autism spectrum disorder and speech, language, and communication needs. Staff work collaboratively to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The Role: Provide targeted support to students with ASD and speech and language difficulties in both mainstream classes and small-group settings. Assist the class teacher in implementing personalised learning plans and differentiation strategies. Encourage students' independence, confidence, and engagement in learning. Work closely with teachers, SENCo, therapists, and parents to ensure consistent support and progress. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working with young people, ideally within an educational or SEN setting. Demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills. Be adaptable, reliable, and committed to inclusive education. Hold relevant qualifications or be willing to undertake appropriate training.
