OverviewElectrical Maintenance Engineer role in Edinburgh with Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing in a high-speed, food manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned maintenance activities as scheduled by the maintenance plan contained within the CMMSAttend and repair breakdowns as required, and report all actions carried out and any further actions required, via the CMMSReport in a comprehensive manner via the CMMS, all work activities carried out on a daily/shift basisBe proactive in preventing equipment failures and improving overall equipment performance by generating and implementing ideas and modificationsProvide a service that meets agreed service levels, including minimising downtime and communicating effectively with relevant personnelProvide a service that meets food safety standards, whilst maintaining standards of housekeeping and personal hygieneRequirementsEducated to HNC standard (or equivalent) or higher in Electrical Engineering is essentialPreferably qualified to current BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring RegulationsTime-served with electrical bias to NVQ/SVQ level 3 (or equivalent)Post apprenticeship, and experienced in preferably a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment (food environment preferable)A proven practitioner of preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, problem solving and continuous improvement skillsMust have a proven ability in diagnostic fault finding under pressure of productionMust have proven experience in PLC Control systems, and PLC fault finding experience in AB PLC5, SLC500, Control Logix, Compact Logix, Factory Talk View, RS Networks (including Ethernet, DeviceNet communications)Familiarity with the use of PC equipment is essentialProven experience of working with the AB PowerFlex range of AC InvertersPlease get in touch with Ricky on 07350421503 or send your CV over to rmcgarrigle@weareninetwenty.comJob detailsLocation: Edinburgh, ScotlandShift Pattern: 2-3-2 (Pitman pattern) – Dayshift & NightshiftEmployment type: Full-timeSeniority level: Not ApplicableEdinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom 1 month agoWe’re keeping job postings concise and focused on the role and requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
