Construction Project Planner Location: Surrey About the role: We are hiring a Construction Project Planner to support pre‑construction and delivery phases of a large‑scale construction project in Surrey. The Planner will provide detailed programmes, logistics plans, budgets, and scheduling plans, reporting directly to senior management and working with pre‑construction, technical, build, and commercial teams, and external stakeholders including clients, consultants, and subcontractors. About you: The successful candidate will have a desire to learn, be digitally savvy, build lasting client relationships, work with motivated teams, and have experience working on large projects/programmes/frameworks. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft suite, experience under NEC3/NEC4 forms of contract, fit‑out or MEP experience, and an experienced construction planner background are required. Roles and responsibilities: Learn and understand project‑specific milestones and durations to build robust schedules. Use information gathered from the team, external supply chain, and benchmark data to produce clear programs in Primavera P6. Understand QSRA risk analysis requirements and build program conforming to DCMA 14 point assessment method. Create level 1–5 schedules and communicate to the project team. Create detailed trade contractor schedules covering design, procurement, installation, commissioning and close‑out. Update program with progress/change and report monthly. Manage short‑term planning on live projects. Incorporate trade contractors’ schedules into the master schedule. Monitor compliance with all health and safety legislation and company procedures. Manage trade contractors’ progress reporting and integration of progress information. Create and monitor KPIs and produce weekly/monthly dashboards and reports. Involve in change management process to determine impact of change on program. Job requirements: Must have 3+ years of Construction Planning experience. Experience using Primavera P6. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Excellent attention to detail.
