Job Overview Knowledge of relevant pharma procedures Level of customer Service – Driving continuous improvement and change management Strong Leadership Health and safety awareness and knowledge Ability to communicate with ground level and senior management Main Duties Manage all site based operatives, overseeing all aspects of their work, including safety inductions, toolbox talks, controlling quality, ensuring method statements/Risk Assessments, order fulfilment, cleanliness & tidiness, use of plant/tools, waste reduction, upkeep of plant and facilities; ensure personal protection equipment/wear is in place. Ensure all works are undertaken within current codes of practice and to the required high standard. Check that all materials used, including those used by sub‑contractors, are compliant with technical and quality specifications. Communicate effectively at all times with the client, client’s representative, project architect, project engineer, local authorities and all persons affected by the project. Liaise daily with the local GSK client on performance and risk. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for site attendance, site induction, toolbox talks, accidents, goods received, weekly site records, site safety inspections, plant register records, scaffold report records and all staff related forms/administration. Knowledge and understanding of P&L reporting and management. Focus on driving growth within existing services as well as new opportunities. Manage and drive the team on continuous improvements that will enhance service levels while driving cost control. What we are looking for Must have nature to represent Mitie with professionalism, integrity and honesty at all times. Must have engineering background and relevant certificates. Pro‑active and good at planning ahead as far as possible as the project progresses, checking back to plans/programmes regularly. Strong sense of achievement; able to drive projects forward, expects good standards of work and able to overcome barriers/solve problems.
