Project Controller Apprentice – London Jacobs invites applicants for a Project Controller Apprenticeship in our London office. Apprentices will earn a Level 6 qualification at London Metropolitan College while gaining hands‑on experience in major programmes across infrastructure and transformation projects. Responsibilities Prepare and review project dashboards, integrating techniques and frameworks within Project Controls. Translate project scopes into design and/or construction Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules that meet objectives and address constraints and risks. Maintain cost and programme deliverables. Communicate key messages to stakeholders. Learn and apply information management and document control techniques. Apply earned value (EV) methodologies, conduct regular updates, time‑impact analysis of changes, and report to schedules. Development Opportunities General career development. Execution quality & innovation. Leadership ability. Requirements Minimum 120 UCAS tariff points, including grade B in A‑Level Mathematics or an equivalent maths‑related subject. Keen interest in project controls and management. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Flexible, proactive self‑starter passionate about developing new skills. Ability to adapt and prioritise while juggling work and study. Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply skills to real‑world problems. Empathy and listening skills to understand client requirements. Well‑rounded experiences (e.g., bar work, sports captain, charity volunteer) that demonstrate diverse interests. Permanent right to work in the UK.
