Job Description Our client is a well‑established and successful UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy that provides a wide range of asbestos and environmental services across the South East of England. Due to recent expansion, the firm is actively recruiting a hard‑working and reliable Asbestos Consultant/Quality Manager based in or around the Chelmsford area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently undertaking lead asbestos projects and looking to further develop their career. Qualifications Must hold P402/P403/P404 qualifications or an equivalent asbestos certificate. Ideally from a technical, quality, auditing or management background. Significant experience in a similar role within a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy. Experience in undertaking asbestos surveying and analytical duties. Good written and verbal communication skills and IT proficiency. Ability to organise and manage own workload with strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Conduct asbestos surveys and site analytical work. Assist in managing and updating the company’s Quality Systems. Conduct localised QC/auditing. Assist with UKAS accreditation auditing in accordance with regulations. Provide training to clients and staff. Ensure the company maintains technical and quality competence in all areas of work. Travel to sites, advise clients on quality systems and resolve any issues effectively. Liaise with other managers and directors.
