We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Support Technician to join the Below Ground team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Below ground are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. You will provideaccuratereporting, coordination, and administrative support forstreet furniture officers and contract assurance technician activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes. The role involves managing data from multiple systems, supporting contract assurance, and liaising with stakeholders tomaintainoperational efficiency. Some of the key responsibilities for the role are as below Reporting & Data Management S81 Meetings – Highways: Run reports from Street Manager to track outstanding and completed S81 jobs. Record actions,monitorprogress, and ensure completion. Schedule and send meeting invites. SF Inspection Reporting: Generate SAP reports showing inspections completed by type and SFO name. SF Released/Completed/Workbasket Reporting: Compile and send monthly reports (REL/COM/Workbasket) to the relevant stakeholders using SAP and other data sources. Completed Street Furniture Jobs Reporting: Produce and distribute weekly Completed Street Furniture reports . Update completed job spreadsheets. Process & Documentation Maintain and update process documents to reflect current procedures. Clean andmaintainthe Street Furniture Catalogue. Cost Analysis & Issue Resolution AnalyzeSF cost data and provide insights on cost trends. Manage frame and cover supply issues and respond to related queries. Support initiatives such as Waste Halo Lid and Wrekin leaflet distribution. Contract Assurance Support Schedule activities for Contract Assurance Technicians (CATs). Compile data and reports to support CATs in their audits and reviews. Respond to ad hoc queries, including historical data analysis. Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with internal teams and external partners to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations. Where you fit in: As our Contract Support Technician you will have Strong analytical and reporting skills (SAP, Street Manager, Excel). Excellent organisational and scheduling abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. What skills & qualifications you will need: Experience inStreetworks, Highways, or Utilities sector preferred. Proficiencyin SAP and Street Manager systems. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis). Knowledge ofStreetworksregulations and processes desirable.
