More About Your Role We have an exciting new opportunity for a Swimming Teacher at Places Leisure, where you will work in a fun, lively environment with like‑minded people. You will help to inspire others to work together and deliver their very best. With your passion for teaching, swimming and excellent class programming and instructing skills, you will be full of enthusiasm while engaging customers and impressing them with your extensive knowledge. All swimmer development stages are based on the National Plan for Teaching Swimming. As such, Swimming Teachers should hold a minimum of UKCC Level 2. It would be advantageous to hold a Lifesaving Qualification (NPLQ or NRASTC); however, a motivated individual will be supported to achieve these qualifications. There are many opportunities for growth. A Swimming Teacher can progress to roles such as Swimming Co‑ordinator or Contract Swimming Development Manager. More About You Passionate about helping people of all ages learn to swim or becoming stronger, faster, or more confident. Work with customers in groups and sometimes for one‑to‑one lessons to motivate and instruct. Friendly, approachable and patient, able to build trust, encourage and motivate students. Thrive on supporting students to reach their potential, drawing on continuous learning and industry best practice.
