Our client is looking to strengthen their existing team by appointing an experienced Process Quality Analyst, working a 3-shift system: 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00, 22:00 – 06:00, Monday – Friday, based at their Newcastle site. Main Duties Ensure that all critical process control parameters are maintained within specification. Ensure that all appropriate actions are taken to supply a quality finished product to the customer. Identify high-risk activities, events, and trends. Work pro-actively with the manufacturing team and use your own initiative based on data and information available. Provide a central point of reference regarding customer or Plant-related ongoing quality issues. Work flexibly in any work area as far as safety and capability permit. Experience/Qualifications A proven quality background Experience of working in a high-speed production environment In-depth knowledge of ISO standards, SPC (Statistical Process Controls), HACCP (Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Point) and Continuous Improvements techniques NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline would be advantageous Personal Attributes Team-player, commercially aware, self-starting with excellent communication skills. A methodical and systematic approach to problems. Computer literate with a good up-to-date knowledge and understanding of systems, data interfaces and the operational use of spreadsheets and databases. Demonstrate leadership and change management abilities.
