Connect to your opportunity As Deloitte’s Engineering Platforms team continues to expand its portfolio of digital products and services, we need to ensure that every portal, interface, and user interaction delivers a seamless and intuitive experience. Our solutions are used daily by practitioners, engineers, and Operate teams across multiple countries within Deloitte North and South Europe (NSE). Consistency, clarity, and usability are key to their success. As a UX Designer, you will play a central role in designing and evolving these digital experiences — ensuring that our portals and service interfaces are clear, efficient, and visually aligned with Deloitte’s design system. Working closely with product owners, developers, and service managers, you’ll define user journeys, create prototypes and wireframes, and ensure every product we deliver meets high standards of usability, accessibility, and brand integrity. You’ll help shape the overall design language and UX strategy for Engineering Platforms, bringing a user‑centred mindset to how we develop and roll out new offerings. This role is perfect for someone who combines creative design skills with a strong technical understanding of how complex digital systems fit together. Key Responsibilities Design and optimise the user experience across Deloitte’s OpenCloud Customer Portal, Admin Portal, and related digital products. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that translate requirements into intuitive and visually consistent user interfaces. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define user journeys and experience flows. Ensure all designs align with Deloitte’s global brand standards and accessibility requirements. Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to validate design decisions and improve user satisfaction. Support the rollout of new platform services by designing consistent UI patterns and reusable design components. Work with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and adherence to responsive design best practices. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a unified UX/UI design system for Engineering Platforms. Champion user‑centred design principles across the team and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders across the NSE member firm network to ensure design consistency across geographies and products Connect to your skills and professional experience Proven experience as a UX Designer, UI/UX Engineer, or Digital Product Designer, ideally within a complex enterprise or multi‑service environment. Strong portfolio demonstrating user‑centred design thinking, prototyping, and delivery of intuitive digital interfaces. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, and familiarity with design systems and component libraries. Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to inform design decisions. Understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and cross‑platform usability standards. Collaborative mindset, with strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, elegant user experiences. UK residency and ability to obtain government security clearance if required. Experience working within cloud or platform engineering environments. Knowledge of React frontend frameworks and how design components integrate into development pipelines. Familiarity with Deloitte’s global design and digital experience standards. Experience contributing to design systems or pattern libraries for large‑scale applications.
