About the Role Join to apply for the Shift Leader role at K&Z Holdings Ltd. The role is based in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. Responsibilities Support and coach the team to ensure they reach their potential in both the shop and kitchen. Support the training pathways to ensure training happens on time. Lead by example and be hands‑on when required. Assign duties amongst team members to match individual productivity rates, skill sets and current responsibilities. Coach the team for good performance by offering regular feedback and praise. Lead the Speed of Service principles, ensuring the team consistently follows the 6 Key Points of Service. Follow MBWA principles and empower the team to deliver engaging Pret activities. Role model the 3Bs (Be Kind, Be Honest, Be Generous) and empower the team accordingly. Ensure the Coffee Calling System is followed efficiently. Ensure all Marketplace orders are prepared promptly and accurately. Ensure the team consistently delivers delicious food by following the 6 Key Points of Production and the 11‑Step Production Process. Apply Production Principles, putting customers’ needs first, and ensuring quality and freshness. Use How to Cards consistently to deliver Pret standards. Carry out Line Checks, address improvements and eliminate MTS rejects. Continuously develop the team’s knowledge around food quality and coffee. Ensure Barista Prepared Drinks are made by trained employees to the highest standard. Maintain food safety and health & safety standards; monitor checks and record them. Take corrective action on safety issues and keep shop clean, safe and well maintained. Follow MBWA principles to monitor Pret Standards from a customer perspective. Demonstrate due diligence, report and escalated quality issues. Maximise sales, labour efficiency and profit through support of forecasting, rota, ordering and production. Accurate ordering, following business needs. Lead, monitor and follow up on Mystery Shopper requirements. Follow the 7 Steps of Unaccounted for good stock control. Maintain Pret’s Financial Standards to minimise risks. Follow merchandising guidelines and use marketing effectively to drive sales and support food launches. Encourage clear communication between kitchen and FOH to meet business needs. Support Marketplace opportunities.
