Overview As a Night Shift Parcel Sorter/Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles, sortation and scanning of parcels into cages/collars. This is a great Temp to Perm opportunity after a successful 12 weeks of service with competitive rates of pay from £12.21 - £12.76 per hour. The operation is open 7 days a week, and we can accommodate any days of work that suit you. You can choose to work part time or full time; the choice is yours. Rate and hours A Night Shift Parcel Sorter/Warehouse Operative rate of pay as follows: £12.21 for the first 12 weeks rising to £12.76 per hour Shifts usually start between 20:00 - 22:00 Benefits Remote registrations Temp to perm opportunities Flexibly working to suit you, build your rota with our team in advance Paid inductions Weekly pay Friendly and approachable team Full training provided Free car park Onsite canteen Your duties Unloading parcels from a trailer Placing parcels onto a conveyor belt Scanning and sorting of parcels with handling/lifting of items of all sizes and weight Working efficiently and effectively as part of a team Ensure scanning with the use of the handheld terminal is completed accurately Accurate completion of any relevant paperwork Keeping work areas clean and tidy Requirements/Qualifications As a Night Shift Parcel Sorter/Warehouse Operative, good attitude and professional conduct is essential, as well as reliability and excellent timekeeping.
