Assistant Service Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager in Ipswich and Woodbridge on a full time contract (37.5 hours per week) and must have a full drivers licence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to take the next step in their career and progress their development. As an Assistant Service Manager, you will report to the Service Manager. Working alongside them, you will help to support a team of Support Workers and ensure the smooth running of the service. This role requires you to be a driver. Key Responsibilities Have strong communication skills with the people we support, colleagues and other stakeholders. Be confident to support with leading and managing a team. Be flexible, ensuring there is adequate support across the management team on site. Previous supervisory experience desirable but not essential. Support the Service Manager with agreed management tasks. Support the team with their development. Ensuring compliance across the team and service. Be confident in being able to work using a computer and electronic systems. Qualifications Full driver’s licence. Previous supervisory experience desirable. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
