Why this job matters Our team leads the way for implementing complex Voice, Network, Wireless and Security Solutions across a wide array of vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, Microsoft and technologies such as SD-WAN, SD-AI, ISE, ACI, Webex, MS Teams & Next-Gen firewalls. We take high-level designs into low-level detail at the post-sale stage, implement the solution and thoroughly test it before handing it over to the relevant support or managed service teams. We’re looking for someone who possesses technical ability, aptitude and a passion to lead our wider Technical Designers through the solution and drive to completion, keeping the customer at the heart of everything. What You’ll Be Doing Capture detailed customer technical requirements and translate them to detailed solution design in accordance with design methodologies. Act as a SPOC, managing and delivering the technical direction and helping determine the optimum solution design for customers. Manage the review and validation processes for both new developments and in-life products and services, ensuring full integration across all aspects. Drive improvement of design and delivery capabilities for end-to-end technical solutions. Manage customer solution design engagement and statement of work creation, including any 3rd-party deliverables. Facilitate the development of strong customer relationships at the senior level through providing specialist service design expertise and influencing the customer's service strategy and operational decisions. Drive consistency in architecture and technical processes to reduce costs and increase productivity. Undertake customer migration planning and implementation. Resolve complex solution and service issues, lead root cause analysis, troubleshooting and escalation. Identify potential risks and implement controls and mitigations, ensuring compliance with relevant industry and company policies. Deliver thought leadership in complex bids and agree on strategic approach as part of customer solution design. Required Skills / Certifications Proven experience in network design, ideally with enterprise or public-sector clients. Strong knowledge of modern networking technologies – Fortinet SD-WAN, WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi. Fortinet SD-WAN Certifications (Preferred): FCSS – Network Security (SD-WAN Focus): Expertise in deploying and managing Fortinet Secure SD-WAN solutions. Requires FCSS – Secure Access Service Edge and FCSS – SD-WAN 7.4 Architect exams. NSE 7 – SD-WAN 7.2: Validates skills in configuring and troubleshooting Fortinet SD-WAN features.
