Location: St Albans, England, United KingdomInstall Engineer -South WestThink Hire are looking for a highly motivated qualified Install Engineer with a good all-roundunderstanding of basic electrics, plumbing and on-site routines, preferably with a background in hybrid systems/ Solar PV/ Generators, alternatively an individual with a background inengineering/electrical works with a capacity to devote themselves to learning our systems quickly. You will be required to attend sites between 8am-5pm, with the possibility of working beyond standard hours as needed.A fullUK driving licence is also critical for the role.Full site installations to include:Assisting in the location of welfare and accommodation with the use of a crane (CPCS SlingerSignaler desirable or experienced in lifting operations.)Ability to install various site welfare in various configurations.Establish water connections on site either from mains water or an external water source.Establish power connections with the use of fly leads ranging from 16amp, 32amp and63amp(plug and play). Power is established from a range of hybrid Think Hire products.Disconnections of the above(Site demobilisation)Ability to read and understand Method Statements, Risk assessments, Lift Plans &Site drawings.Ability to brief out the above to a site install team.Prioritise and rectify site breakdowns ranging from water or power issues on site.Represent yourself &Think Hire to a very high standard at all times.Stock management of individual equipment needed to carry out daily tasks.Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.Report to the Head of Contract Delivery on a daily basis.Technical KnowledgeUnderstanding of the components used within our hybrid systems – Solar PV, Battery, Windturbine, Generators Diesel/LPG.Programming settings on new and existing hybrid systems.Fault diagnosis on systems/ generators.Site visits on occasions to diagnose/ rectify faults.Remote monitoring of systems.Remote refinement of settings when new systems are installed on-site.The successful individual will be joining a highly skilled and motivated team of individuals from variousworking backgrounds.
