Job overview We are looking for a Clinical Lead to join the Liaison Psychiatry Team in the East Locality. This role will cover both Leighton Hospital and Macclesfiled Hospital The post holder will be expected to work as part of the First Response Service which includes Crisis Triage and Response Services (Crisis Line & Response Services), Liaison Psychiatry and Crisis Resolution & Home Treatment teams Shortlisting for this vacancy is due commence on 29th December 2025 and the proposed interview date is 15th January 2026 Main duties of the job To support the Team Manager in delivering a high quality mental health services. To provide clinical leadership within the team and management support, deputising for the Team Manager in their absence. The post holder will be expected to work autonomously within a multi disciplinary framework, providing training and staff development, specialist assessment, clinical support and time limited intervention to service users. The post holder will act as a source of expertise and point of contact within the team and demonstrate highly specialised communication skills and problem solving abilities when prioritising risk. We hope to welcome you to Team CWP very soon Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria A relevant Social Work, Nursing or Allied Health Professional (e.g. Occupational Therapy) degree level qualification or equivalent experience Current registration with a nationally recognised professional body relevant to the professional qualification held e.g. GSCC for Social workers, HPC for Occupational Therapists etc. Desirable criteria Masters level qualification or equivalent short courses and / or experience. Teaching qualification or significant experience.
