Yard Sales Assistant – Travis Perkins plc Joining our friendly and hard working family as an Yard Sales Assistant, you'll be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our yard. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service. Responsibilities Build strong relationships with customers to deliver the highest standards of service – be helpful and friendly at all times, getting to know customers on a first name basis. Process customer orders, load and unload customer and company vehicles. Unload building products from supplier deliveries and accurately book them into the branch warehouse. Use a forklift (full training provided). Maintain a tidy and safe working environment, ensuring safety standards never slip. Skills & Requirements Physically active – able to lift heavy building materials. Friendly and outgoing, happy to communicate face to face with customers. Adaptable, resilient and tenacious with high levels of energy and drive. Thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
