We’re on the lookout for a highly skilled diesel master technician to join our production team. In your new role you’ll be responsible for repairing, rebuilding and testing all makes and models of mechanical and electronic diesel fuel injection systems. You’ll need to be a master of all, because one day you might be working on a latest generation common rail injector, the next, a vintage rebuild for a 1960’s inline pump. No two are the same. But whatever the technology, every day, you’ll need to demonstrate a passion for quality, precision workmanship and a proactive approach to problem solving, to ensure a right-first-time job, every time.What you’ll do:Troubleshoot faults in a wide range of conventional and modern fuel injection systems to determine the most effective repair solutionRepair/rebuild diesel pumps and injectors following OE-approved specifications and processesPerform end-of-life testing and calibration to confirm product is to OE specificationMeet production deadlines, whilst still maintaining the highest quality standardsMaintain accurate records including job cards, test results and quality documentationAdhere to all company procedures, such as health and safety, quality control and operating instructionsMaintain a clean, organised and efficient workspaceDrive continuous improvements in processes and workshop efficiencyWhat you’ll bring to this role:Hands-on experience as a diesel technician or engineerSolid understanding of all diesel fuel injection technologies: common rail, EUI, rotary, inlineGood knowledge of Bosch, Delphi, Denso, Continental and Stanadyne systemsSkilled in using specialist test equipment and diagnostic toolAbility to read and interpret diagnostic and test dataStrong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively and meet targets on timeExcellent communication skills including writing and speakingGood attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well individually and in a team environmentKnowledge of QHSE legislationAbove all else, a good working attitudeWhat’s in it for you:Pension with employer contributions at 5% after 12 monthsOn-the-job training and career developmentUpload CV/Resume * Maximum allowed file size is 128 MB.
