OverviewEngineer Surveyor – Crane & Lifting Equipment. Location: Birmingham. Salary: Basic from £40,290, Company Car, Benefits. Hours: Monday–Friday with flexible working hours. Role involves visiting client sites to inspect Crane & Lifting equipment and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.ResponsibilitiesVisit client sites to inspect crane and lifting equipment and verify compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.Assess equipment condition and decide on future use; operate unsupervised with sound judgment.Maintain, service and repair or work with various crane, lifting equipment as required.Organise own working day and meet different clients daily (travel within Birmingham area).Work at height and in confined spaces when required.Requirements / QualificationsIdeally NVQ Level 4 or equivalent engineering qualification; minimum NVQ Level 3 with inspection experience or current Engineer Surveyor role considered.Knowledge and understanding of LOLER & PUWER regulations.Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions about equipment condition and future use.Ability to work at height and in confined spaces.Strong relationship-building skills and ability to influence customers.Resident in or around the Birmingham area.BenefitsBasic salary from £40,290; NVQ Level 4 £42,432 with potential salary progressionCompany car, bonus, overtime, pension, 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays)Opportunity to progress into Management, Technical Specialist and other senior roles40-hour week, Monday – Friday, with travelRegular performance reviewsIf interested, apply at the bottom of this advert.
