As a Strong Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for, implementing, managing and maintaining cloud solutions for our prestigious clients. You will leverage your expertise in Azure and Infrastructure as Code to deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud environments. We deliver IT Transformation and Delivery services to some of the most well-known organisations in the UK and can count 18% of the FTSE 100 as clients, delivering services across several different sectors.ResponsibilitiesImplementing, managing and maintaining Azure cloud solutions for clientsLeverage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud environmentsProvide high-performing support capability within the Cloud Operations TeamMentor teammates and contribute to team knowledge growthEngage in professional growth opportunities and work on large, complex programmesEssential Skills & ExperienceMinimum of 18 months experience with Azure cloud services, including advanced resource management, networking, and security implementationsHands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies in enterprise environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve intricate issues in production environmentsExperience in at least one scripting/programming language (PowerShell, Python, Bash) with demonstrable complex automation implementationsExperience implementing robust monitoring solutions and advanced alerting strategiesStrong background in cloud security principles and implementation of security controls in AzureExperience mentoring team mates and contributing to team knowledge growthStrong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilitiesWillingness to travel within the UK for projectsRight to work in the UKAbility to achieve UK Security ClearanceQualificationsDesirableHands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD toolsKnowledge of cost optimisation strategies for cloud resourcesExperience with advanced Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Trade certificationsExperience with infrastructure monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor at scaleBackground in maintaining disaster recovery and high-availability solutions for critical systemsWhat We OfferAt Netcompany, we believe in empowering our senior engineers to drive innovation and excellence.
