Key Stage 1 Teacher (Full Time, Temporary) Durham, DH1 £600 - £1192.95 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) January 2026 July 2026 The School and Role We are looking for an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to work in a friendly primary school in Durham, DH1. Working as part of an established team, the desired Key Stage 1 Teacher will be teaching in a mixed Year 1 / Year 2 class. Some of the children have SEND and are working at a lower ability. The role would be Monday to Friday, to cover an unplanned absence. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport. Requirements Experience of working with primary school aged children Experience of working with pupils with SEND A passion for the progress of primary school pupils An ability to work as part of a team QTS within the UK What we offer As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
