The Chief Steward GPA is responsible for the cleanliness according to USPH regulation, maintenance and upkeep of all galleys and all equipment and ship's property that he is working with; to be responsibly minded for the breakage and loss of any equipment. To handle all the cleaning materials, chemicals and machinery necessary for the daily operation of the galley areas. Key Responsibilities Supervise, schedule and manages the GPA Galley Utilities. Actively involved in cleaning duties. Knowledgeable and enforces USPH protocols to achieve required standards. Active participation in onboard training programs. Ensures all logs are in compliance with USPH regulation. Additional duties, not mentioned here, will be expected as per management request. Education/Experience/Qualifications: Languages: Fluent English. Education: High school degree or related. Culinary training appreciated. Previous professional experience: 1 year in a similar capacity in a luxury culinary environment. Shipboard experience: Yes. Valid STCW certificates. Valid Pre-Employment Medical.
